I began working at the Camuto Group in the Fall of 2007 as a Design Coordinator for BCBG MAXAZRIA.  I was fortunate to work alongside Mercedes Castillo. Mercedes taught me immensely, from merchandising collections by color and material, technical fit and construction development to extracting innovative designs from almost any source of inspiration; and her aesthetic continues to inspire to me today.  While working on BCBG MAXAZRIA I had my first experience with NY fashion week, and I began collaborating on designs in my second year working on the brand.  At the end of three years I had evolved professionally to the title of Assistant Designer.
