FASHION INSPIRATION
It all starts with research and mood boards. These are a few physical and digital inspiration boards I have created.
After days of research, I lay out tears, swatches and images to create physical inspiration boards by mood and color. It can begin with a muse, a piece of art, or general images I love, and evolves into a visual storyboard that will inform the designs that will take form within. I often include physical accessories, shoes and swatches to add depth. I then convert these to digital inspiration boards using adobe illustrator. These in turn inspire the color palette and materials that are used in a collection.
